The Texas Methodist Foundation
Joins Forces with the
Central Texas Methodist Foundation
We are pleased to announce that the Texas Methodist Foundation (TMF) and the Central Texas Methodist Foundation (CTMF) have agreed to combine resources. As a result of this agreement, TMF has acquired and assumed a majority of CTMF assets and liabilities, effective February 16, 2012.
In addition to offering similar services, the two foundations share a common purpose of helping to bring about the world God imagines through assisting United Methodist churches, institutions and individuals with a variety of financial and leadership resources.
After the Central Texas Methodist Foundation contacted the Texas Methodist Foundation about this possibility, an extensive due-diligence process began. It was determined that assuming the majority of CTMF's assets and liabilities would be a positive move for both organizations and, more importantly, for Christ's ministries in the Central Texas Conference.
As you may know, this transition coincides with CTMF President Pat Sprayberry-Hall's retirement. TMF is grateful for the pivotal role she played in this agreement and for her faithful service to the Central Texas Conference, especially in the area of deferred giving guidance. TMF wishes her all the best as she enters this new chapter of her life, and we look forward to working with her during this transition and becoming acquainted with the special relationships she has formed throughout the conference.
The Texas Methodist Foundation welcomes the churches, investors, donors, and others previously associated with CTMF into the TMF family. We will strive to demonstrate our core values of servanthood, competence and integrity in all of our interactions with you.
We are excited about the future and pledge to continue the good work done by the Central Texas Methodist Foundation to strengthen and sustain God's work through the Central Texas Conference.
